Paxos,
or Paxi as it is also known, is the smallest of the main Ionian Islands.
Strangely enough, though this island actually offers very little in terms
of archaeological sites and sandy beaches, it is an extremely popular Greek
Island destination, and can be quite crowded during the summer months.
The main town of "Gaios" is where most visitors will arrive,
but there are also other towns around the island worth visiting such as
Lakka and Longos.
The island of Paxos is probably best suited to those seeking very peaceful
and relaxing holidays, set in beautiful surroundings.
