Volos
is the port serving city, located at the foot of the majestic Mount Pelion,
one of the most stunning and unique regions to be found anywhere in Greece.
Pelion is a perfect combination of mountain and sea, offering stunning
images and landscapes. Beautiful sandy beaches scatter the coastline, and
some of the villages are well worth visiting.
There is also the famous ski centre of Agriolefkes on Mount Pelion that
is very popular. Volos is a lovely city, and has some interesting places
in and around the region that are well worth visiting.
